DC/DC converters in a SIP/SIL6-micro housing with 1W output are available for direct PCB mounting. These devices come in two versions: RBM-_S, which has a single output, and RBM-_D, which provides dual outputs. They have been approved for medical applications and feature an industry standard pinout. With efficiency up to 85%, these converters offer unregulated voltage with ±5% accuracy and ripple & noise of maximum 100mVpp. The isolation is rated at 3kV DC while the operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C.
