The lead-acid rechargeable battery series LC-CA and ÖC-XC by Panasonic for cyclical operation have positive and negative electrodes made of a lead-tin-calcium alloy. The fiber glass separators contain high acid resistancy and low electric conductivity. The security valve with a response pressure of 1 to 6 Psi allows excess gas to escape and stabilizes the optimal inside pressure. The ABS leak-proof rechargeable battery case allows application in any position. These batteries provide in general twice the number of cycles of conventional lead-acid batteries.
