• in case of vaporisation of the wire, a special varnish absorbs the metal vapour and prevents arcing and consequent short circuit.
• the winding wire is dimensioned in such a way that, for all resistance values between 10R and 330R  vaporisation occurs with mains voltage
• the resistor elements are encased in a silicon varnish and, in the classic sense, are not electrically insulated
• for resistance values under 10R as well as for other voltages, it has been ensured that the resistor is flame retardant
